¿Cómo decir que un lugar es más tranquilo que otro? ¿O quién es el más amable de la familia? Todo esto son grados de comparación de los adjetivos. No solo permiten describir, sino también comparar: personas, cosas, fenómenos, sentimientos. Y si quieres hablar inglés de forma interesante y precisa, sin limitarte a monosílabos, no puedes prescindir de ellos.
En inglés hay tres grados de comparación de los adjetivos: positivo (forma normal), comparativo y superlativo.
Por ejemplo: fast → faster → the fastest beautiful → more beautiful → the most beautiful
