Address spelling is slightly different in the US and UK.
1. Let's start with the United States of America.
First, the state in which the settlement is located is necessarily indicated, because there are several cities and villages with the same names. Moreover, each state has an official abbreviation up to two letters. For example: CA - California, FL - Florida (see list below).
Second, in business correspondence, the address is filled out in capital (capital) letters.
Third, it is necessary to write the index, which consists of 5 digits, and each region has a different range.
Abbreviations are also used. The most common ones are: st. - street - street, Ave. - Avenue - Avenue, Bldg. - Building - building, Apt. - Apartment - apartment. A more complete list is at the end of the article.

480 CROSSVILLE ROAD
ATLANTA, GA 30318
If you include the address in the body of the letter, please keep the order and punctuation: Ms. Karen Klark, 43 Campus str., Cheyenne, WY 76850 , USA
2. Great Britain.
England is a country of traditions. The postal system here was formed back in the 19th century and has not changed much since then.
Here are some differences:
There is no period after abbreviations. Instead of Apt. fl - apartment is used.
County names are not capitalized. This prevents confusion.
It is obligatory to have an index. It is five-seven-digit, consists of numbers and letters with a space in the middle. The first part defines the city and the district, the second part - specifically the street and the house. Each house in Britain has its own code. Addresses with it and are indicated. They pay a lot of money for a prestigious index.
The initial letters in the index, for example:
E - East London
EC - Central London
N - North London, and so on to the sides of the world, except for the south.
When writing the country use Great Britain, not United Kingdom, as there may be technical difficulties.

3. If you want to send mail to Australia or New Zealand, follow the "American" order: name/home, street, apartment/city, region, zip code.
