About us
Our goal is not to overload students with heavy grammar, turning them into philologists, but to teach a real, living language. The one you hear in a store, the one that allows you to communicate, meet people and clearly articulate your thoughts in a foreign language.

Objective of the English speaking clubs

BeBest Language School constantly organises online speaking clubs.

First of all, let's discuss whether you understand the difference between communicative English classes and speaking clubs.

Why we need English speaking clubs

During the lessons, the teacher explains the grammar rules, gives you new words, corrects mistakes, learns the sounds and pronunciation with you, makes sure you understand each construction until you reach an agreement, practises all the exercises with you. Grades your speech and gradually introduces more and more constructions and expressions.

In the end, after the training you should understand the rules, know how to read, write, understand speech and know how to speak. In other words, you must know English.

The aim of English speaking clubs is to get you to speak, to start using what you already have in your passive vocabulary and transfer it to active vocabulary.

Students attend a speaking club to improve their speaking, to learn to listen to and understand foreign speech and to expand their vocabulary.

In these meetings, no grammatical constructions or rules are worked on, no sounds or pronunciation are learned and the teacher will most likely not have the opportunity to correct and correct you.

The main emphasis is on spoken language: listening comprehension and communication practice.

Speaking Club will unlock your skills, be assured that it is through practice that proficiency is developed. By participating in live conversations, where it is impossible to guess the answers and predict the course of the conversation, the ability and capacity to perceive and freely use a foreign language is born. The more often you attend the speaking club, the sooner you will start to see the results.
We have all studied a foreign language for years in schools and colleges, but without practice in communication, the level of proficiency often leaves much to be desired. At the same time, we all know well that a child at the age of 6-7 years already masters native speech, learning it mainly through communication. The child creates direct associative links image - sound of the word. This natural linguistic ability is automatic and long-lasting. So why don't we use it too?

But it is important to realise that, as adults, we need the structure and understanding of the logic of language. You probably can't give up English lessons altogether and master the language only through oral practice in speaking clubs. I have come across cases when clients learn the language through practice in different forms of contact with the language: work, communication with foreigners, travel, and in their head they had a lot of words, but they were so chaotically put into sentences that they could hardly distinguish the essence.

Conclusion: the best solution is English classes with communicative methodology + speaking clubs. If you have B2+, you can only do clubs.

The main objective of the English speaking clubs: that teachers conclude

1. Each club has a theme and a set of questions about it. A controversial topic is chosen to provoke a lively debate;
2. 2. The teacher prepares words and expressions on the topic in advance, which are learnt at the beginning of the club to be used during the discussions;
3. You may be given an article to read or a video to watch, in order to deepen the discussion;
4. At the end of the club we definitely play games: aliases, who am I, etc.

Although the speaking Club is run by a teacher and a native speaker, the main focus remains on the students' discourse. After all, the aim of such a class is not to listen to a foreigner speak, but to be part of the conversation.

The speaking Club is not just an English class. It is a powerful platform for perfecting communication skills, public speaking and creating a community of interests. As a teacher, I recommend attending at least twice a month. This way your interest in the language will not wane and you will reach your goals much faster than you expect.
