about course
Our B2 course is designed for students who already have a solid foundation and want to communicate more confidently, express complex ideas and use English in a wider range of situations. At this stage, learning goes beyond basic conversations: you work on fluency, accuracy, vocabulary and the ability to understand different speakers and types of texts. It suits you if you can discuss familiar topics but sometimes struggle to explain complex ideas, if you understand the main points of conversations, videos and articles but want to catch more details, if you want to speak more naturally without searching for words, or if you feel you have reached a plateau and need structured practice to progress. The course takes your level and goals into account: if you need English mainly for professional communication, you practise the relevant situations; if your goal is everyday fluency, lessons focus more on conversations, opinions and experiences.

Curriculum
The programme combines structured language practice with communication, so you apply new vocabulary and grammar and do not just study them in isolation. In vocabulary you learn more varied and specific expressions for explaining opinions, discussing abstract topics and describing experiences, on themes such as work and careers, education, technology and society, travel and culture, relationships and personal development, news and social issues, and arguments, advantages and disadvantages, along with collocations, phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions. In grammar you review familiar structures, address recurring mistakes and practise more complex forms in context: narrative tenses, present perfect and past perfect, passive voice, reported speech, conditionals and hypothetical situations, modal verbs for probability, deduction, obligation and advice, relative clauses, gerunds and infinitives, and linking words. In speaking you practise taking part in discussions, expressing a clear point of view, agreeing and disagreeing politely, giving reasons and examples, comparing options, speculating about hypothetical outcomes and responding to unexpected questions, while working on pronunciation, sentence stress and natural phrasing. In listening you follow longer conversations, interviews, discussions and presentations, identify the speaker’s main argument, tell important details from supporting information and recognise tone and attitude. In reading you work with articles, opinion pieces, reports and reviews, learning to follow how a text is organised, recognise the author’s point of view, tell facts from opinions and work out unfamiliar vocabulary from context. In writing you practise emails, opinion paragraphs, reviews, reports, structured summaries and texts that compare options or explain a problem, with attention to structure, linking words, accuracy and tone. For work, you practise explaining ideas, contributing to meetings, discussing tasks, presenting suggestions and communicating with colleagues; for travel, handling unexpected problems and asking for detailed information; for study, understanding longer texts, following explanations and organising written assignments. Lessons take place online with a teacher: you may discuss a topic, listen to or read a text, analyse useful expressions, complete exercises and use the language in a conversation or writing task, while the teacher corrects mistakes and helps you find more natural ways to express your thoughts.
Our goal is for you to use English independently across a wide range of situations. In the B2 course you will express complex ideas, discuss abstract topics and understand different speakers, expand your vocabulary and improve your accuracy and be able to communicate at work, while travelling and in everyday life with greater confidence.

I started the course with almost no knowledge of English and at first I thought it would be difficult. However, the teacher explains everything very clearly and patiently, which makes learning easier. Now I can understand basic phrases and form short sentences.

For students who can already communicate independently but want to become more fluent, precise and flexible: those who need English for work, studies, travel or international communication, want to write clearer emails and reports, or feel they have reached a plateau.
-
You should already be able to handle many everyday conversations. The next step at B2 is communicating with greater confidence, understanding more nuanced language and adapting your speech to different contexts. If you are unsure of your level, the first lesson will show it.
-
The teacher assesses your current level, discusses your goals and helps determine a suitable programme, so you can focus on the areas that need the most attention.
-
More varied and specific vocabulary for work and careers, education, technology and society, travel and culture, relationships and personal development, news and social issues, and for expressing opinions and arguments, plus collocations, phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions. The goal is to use them appropriately, not just to memorise them.
-
Present, past and future forms, narrative tenses, present perfect and past perfect, passive voice, reported speech, conditionals, modal verbs, relative clauses, gerunds and infinitives, and linking words. Grammar is practised through examples, discussions and realistic tasks, so you understand when each structure is useful.
-
You develop longer answers, support your opinions, compare alternatives, explain complicated ideas, respond to unexpected questions and use linking expressions to sound more coherent. Work on pronunciation, sentence stress and natural phrasing helps you spend less time translating in your head.
