This A1 English course is designed for people who are starting to learn the language from scratch or with minimal knowledge. During the classes, you will learn basic vocabulary and simple structures and will be able to start communicating in English in everyday situations.

Reaching A1 is the first important step towards using English in everyday situations. Our course is designed for students with little or no knowledge of English who want to build a solid foundation in vocabulary, grammar and communication. A1 corresponds to the beginner level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and the content is adapted to your starting point and your goals, whether you need English for daily life, travel, work or studies. The aim is not just to memorise rules, but to understand how structures work and use them in your own sentences. It is also a good option if you have studied English before and need to organise and strengthen the basics.
Curriculum

The programme combines communicative practice, everyday vocabulary and basic grammar, so that every new topic can be used from the very first lessons. You will work on speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing, with topics such as introducing yourself and other people, family, daily routine, hobbies, time and dates, describing people and places, food, shopping, directions and simple plans. Grammar is introduced gradually and always connected with real use: the verb to be, personal pronouns, possessive forms, Present Simple, basic questions, articles, plurals, there is / there are, basic prepositions, can and expressions of time and frequency. For listening, you practise with short dialogues, everyday conversations, simple instructions, audio and video; for reading, with short messages, descriptions, signs and notices; and for writing, with forms, short messages and simple sentences about familiar topics. Each class combines review, new material, guided practice, speaking practice, everyday situations and feedback from the teacher. Around 70% of class time is dedicated to practising and speaking in real communication situations. Classes take place on our own platform, with digital and interactive materials: vocabulary and grammar exercises, audio, video, reading texts and speaking activities.

Choosing a teacher
After you register, we’ll help you choose a teacher who has experience working with beginners. This ensures that the language is explained step-by-step and clearly.
First introductory class
In the first class, you’ll meet your teacher and discuss your learning goals. You’ll also receive an overview of how the course is structured and which topics will be covered at the beginning.
Initial level assessment
Even for beginner students, it is important to determine the starting point. The teacher will assess your basic knowledge and recommend the most suitable study program.
Start of regular learning
After the first class, you can choose the most convenient schedule for your lessons. Over time, you will begin to expand your vocabulary and participate in simple conversations in English.

What is the A1 English course like?

Time

Our experience shows that at least 40 classes are needed to move up a level with solid progress. The pace depends on your starting point and the practice you do outside class; what matters is developing stable language skills, not simply completing a set number of lessons.
Frequency

The usual routine is 2 to 3 classes per week, depending on your schedule and goals. Between classes you can review new vocabulary, practise grammar and return to the lesson materials.
Format

The course is fully online, with interactive materials available on your phone, tablet or computer.
